Makes sense, but last year Thomann happily sold me a couple of new Squiers from Germany (both FSR colours too).

Once you swap out that tort ( ), they'll look almost as good as my blue sparkle Jag, but at 1/3 the cost

You say that, but I was never in love with the silver sparkle Squier Jag I owned from the other year. Hard to explain but the the flakes were smaller compared to the Gretch Sparkle Jets I've owned. It didn't pop anywhere near as much as the jets and looked a bit cheap as a result.ThePearDream wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 4:16 amOnce you swap out that tort ( ), they'll look almost as good as my blue sparkle Jag, but at 1/3 the cost
I did also briefly own the recent Squier Paranormal Supersonic in blue sparkle. Again the flake didn't look quite as eye catching as the big flakes used in my jets, but it looked better than the silver sparkle Jag.
I'm still willing to take a punt on one of these blue sparkles jags though. If they also do a green sparkle then it's game over for me.

Re: CME Blue Sparkle Classic Vibe Jaguar
I haven't seen the newer Squier sparkle finishes in person, so can't really compare. I got the biggest flake possible for mine though, and it really pops. A green sparkle offset would be an instant buy for me. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one of those green sparkle fsr Affinity Strats from a few years ago.DavidG wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 5:55 amYou say that, but I was never in love with the silver sparkle Squier Jag I owned from the other year. Wonder if these will make it to Canada? If so then I've gotta have it!

Re: CME Blue Sparkle Classic Vibe Jaguar
Ive only seen them in pictures and videos, but I agree. I ALMOST bought one of the silver jags to spray candy blue over it, but the flake on the body I almost bought looked small and sparse, similar to one of the cheap Eden flake bodies I've bought in the past. The blue flake of the supersonic did look good from what I saw, and it looked to be blue over silver flake (which I think looks better than blue flake with a transparent clear coat).DavidG wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 5:55 amYou say that, but I was never in love with the silver sparkle Squier Jag I owned from the other year. Id have to see other sellers pictures or customer pics before I buy, but if this is the same blue flake as the supersonics, im in. This is 100% one of my dream guitars and already has me photshopping mockups of what i'd do to it lol.

I dig this!Tweedledee wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:46 amI almost caved on the silver sparkle Classic Vibe Jaguar, but somehow managed to hold off. I’m not sure I can hold off on this one! Blue sparkle with a matching headstock is just too perfect.
