I think they'll always be cheaper than a JM thanks to the bias against the scale length. But they're still rising fast...I've only owned my black one just over a month and I've already been offered £1000 more than I paid for it

I feel like yours was a really good deal though. It’s been quite a long time sense i’ve seen one south of 3500-4000. Maybe i’ll be able to get one if I can sell one of my mustangs for a crazy dreamin’ pricejohnnysomersett wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 10:05 amI think they'll always be cheaper than a JM thanks to the bias against the scale length. No pics to show at the moment, but for the list: '66 JM sn: 117135. Has dots/binding. Neck says '65. Previous owner thinks it was originally white, but the pre-prevoius owner had attempted a diy redburst. It wasn't pretty, so I had it professionally refinished CAR w/ matching headstock in the early 00's.

F126723 FEB66B dot's & binding CAR with what appears to me to be the silver undercoat.
My brother bought it used in the late 80's for about $250. It came with an older 1962ish brown Fender case. I'm pretty sure the tremolo arm isn't correct.

Tremolo arm is definitely not correct but WOW what a guitar. Beauty. Looks like it was made yesterday as part of the AO series!

Thanks! While it does photograph well, it does have a lot of chips, dings and back worming. It is all there though, except the trem arm and bridge cover, original solder joints untouched, and the contours are really deep. At 7 1/2 pounds I think it's pretty darn light too!

Added! That's a beautiful Jazzmaster, one of the coolest CAR examples ive seen. I love the custom colors with the CAR decal.
