Hi All
I have a preference for 7.25" necks. Unfortunately Allparts JZRO is a 9.5.
I was thinking of going with Musikraft but understand they are stretched due to Covid. Anyone have a current or recent order with them who can share how long they are currently taking for neck orders?
And does anyone have any other suggestions for a 7.25 Jazzmaster neck.
Many thanks

Warmoth does 7.25” radius necks. You can get a neck that is more or less vintage spec all around from them, you just have to go through a lot of little drop-down feature selections to get it.

I was part of the Musikraft Marauder neck group buy. That was a ~3 month turnaround. Warmoth will likely be a bit faster assuming you don't get a finish on your neck (which Musikraft doesn't offer as an option). Basically, if you're ordering something custom, it's a multi-month wait. Covid made things a bit worse, but custom stuff just takes time.

Is 7,25“ the only thing you need? Any specifics aestheticwise?
About a year I bought a Classic 60s Lacquer JM for my Telemaster and it‘s a damn fine neck!
It‘s Pau Ferro - but properly oiled it got far more character than all my Rosewood necks combined. But I just looked and it seems to be discontinued/sold out everywhere. At least in Europe...
Other than that: the Stratosphere has an Allparts Big Headstock (CBS 70s Strat) 7,25“ neck with Rosewood fingerboard. Close enough for you or do you insist on the JM headstock shape?

Re: 7.25" replacements necks for Jazzmaster
Thanks all.
I like to keep Fenders at 7.25" but 9.5" is no problems. For this particular JM build, however, I want to keep it as close as possible to vintage specs - 7.25" radius, 1-5/8" nut width, rosewood board and a headtsock shape as close to vintage correct as possible.
Musikraft looks like the best option for this, just have to accept the wait times.

my experience is limited to a few aftermarket manufacturers, but the Musikraft neck is the only one I kept. It's stellar
Nobody exists on purpose.
