Re: Warmoth Bass VI Project
That is kind of what I was thinking. I also think it is weird they asked for picturea of the cavity and switch. I even sent them the info about how deep their cavity was vs what is in a strat normally to take those blade switches. You would think their file would have the mm depth already and say you need a short switch for it.

Re: Warmoth Bass VI Project
Wiring is done and the guard is mostly mounted. I need more screws. I ordered a bridge for it. This month I need to order a neck as well.... at least the body is basically done?

Re: Warmoth Bass VI Project
Got the neck in and finally got it almost done. Just missing strings.

Once you get the strings, please report on how the upper bout switch feels in practice I was thinking about doing it like that on a completely different body shape at some point, and would be interested in some experiences. It'd be good to know if the angle feels ok like that, and then how you have the guitar positioned when you play.

Will do. I am guessing it will work great, but time will tell.bodhi wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2024 8:10 amOnce you get the strings, please report on how the upper bout switch feels in practice I was thinking about doing it like that on a completely different body shape at some point, and would be interested in some experiences. I love how this turned out! Now I'm kind of wishing I had held onto the body and done something like this for myself.

Re: Warmoth Bass VI Project
All finished. Sounds good! The switch is really easy to use. I like the wider staytrem bridge. Works really well!
