That’s just not right! I had forgotten this song existed and now this happens to me. If “Steal my Sunshine” gets stuck in my head for a couple of days that’s fine, but this one is colossally annoying!shadowplay wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:04 amOh, oh, oh, go totally crazy, forget I'm a lady...

Won't leave me alone, I need a restraining order. I'm worried that i'll now be vulnerable to the Sheryl Crow virus.
The funny thing is that the version in my head isn't as bad as the reality which is has aspects a baw hair from the blooze daddy demo dude genre.

My son is listening to Minecraft parody songs and there’s a Maroon 5 “One More Night” one.

It's not a shit song, necessarily, but I sure never want it stuck in my head.
Which it is now... one of my co-workers was playing it, I have no idea why, she's just graduated high school and is heading off to college. Very smart, an accomplished musician, so I guess she might have played it in jazz band or something.
Sad to think this music is still terrorizing the youth.

Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

i heard Come Sail Away by Styx on the radio at work the other day, and i didn't realize until then how much i absolutely HATE that song. I especially loathe the first part of the song "i'm sailing away...." with the piano and just... ugh, fuck, kill me now.
I thought Patio Lanterns by Kim Mitchell was my least favorite song, but i'll take that 100 times over Come Sail Away.

Summer Breeze by Seals and Crofts came on the radio a couple days ago and it keeps coming back. Idk what it us but I find it such a depressing, bleak song, I hate it.

Just reading the last two posts launched Sailing by Christopher Cross in my head. When the four horsemen descend at armageddon, those songs will ring from the trumpets of the apocalypse.

For a couple of years a friend of mine and I have held a sh*t song contest. He lived in Pennsylvania for a few years, which gave him an unfair advantage on me. He told me he literally only had to turn on the radio and that stuff would come pouring in.
Here's his epic win from last summer:

Now, this piece of crap has been hanging around between my ears ever since. I can't really blame him, we brought this upon ourselves. But daaaaaamn does it make me want to cry when it starts spinning on my brain-turntable at 4 am.
This one was also a strong contender:

What A Fool Believes keeps popping up - I’ve heard it at the grocery store, the coffee shop, and on the local college station lately. It better not be having a renaissance like Africa. God damn it. I hate that song. IT WON’T STOP SPINNING. I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT WORDS MICHAEL MCDONALD IS SINGING IN HALF OF IT.

Dude, I love making Michael McDonald noises. Anytime I hear him, I just sing right along in my best incoherent Michael McDonald voice. It annoys everyone around me. It's great.
This is an excellent rectangle

I love the Type O Negative version of "Summer Breeze." It's menacing. I heard that crappy "And I said what about Breakfast at Tiffany's" song in the store the other day. The fuckers had the volume up more than usual and were playing the worst, shit from the late 90s that you can remember.
