I've said before, I really quite like this one! Someone's changed its pickups since its last appearance on this thread, though. It looked better before with the full on EMG style humbucker.cestlamort wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 8:06 amThe post-war American dream was to have a cool guitar, a cool car, and a house with a swimming pool.

For sale. (had a Valentine's discount to 2600 so probably room for an offer).

I kinda like that 70's van / Corvus Mustang. I think I'd let it keep on flying it's freak flag.Hyphen Nation wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:54 pmWill could fix it up in like two evenings after work...Con-Tiki! wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 7:29 amThis is pretty awful...

I almost bought this one as a restoration project, but that neck pocket gap is just nasty. Too many red flags.simonhpieman wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 4:37 pmI've said before, I really quite like this one! Someone's changed its pickups since its last appearance on this thread, though. For me, it was the crack on the edge of the body near the rhythm controls - and no pictures of what's under the pickguard. Could be some super-scary routing under there!

Swear to you I just let out an audible "ugh. Jesus Christ."
That's not terrible, but still just bad enough that it hurts to look at. That poor formerly LPB body...

Funny..after Will's "un-Voxing a Jazzmaster" thread, I now look at guitars like the Bass VI above & think "Pffft..no big deal !
Interesting use of the mute, too..not only backwards, but looks like they trimmed the 'lip' off it..a real shame, vintage VI mutes are rare as
hen's teeth.

The fact that it’s pictured on a workbench gives me hope that this is the start of a restoration project?
"500€? That's the price of a J Mascis Jazzmaster!"
