on a whim bought a last minute ticket to Chris Stapleton tonight, and just got back from the show.
fuck was he ever great. huge talent! coming from a guy who isn't a fan of country, i loved it! highly recommended even if you don't like country

Their scheduling seems awful, particularly right at the start of the tour... Melbourne -> Sydney -> Melbourne... Guess the 900km trip 'looks' small on the map.

Very excited at the prospect of Afrirampo on Saturday night. They've reappeared after a few years hiatus, and I have so many happy memories of seeing them first time round.
