Squier Vista Series Catalog Scans!

Post by gutter rock » Sun Feb 08, 2009 10:01 pm

I found an old Squier catalog in my garage that has the Vista series in it.  I scanned the pages for your pleasure.  I know the Venus isn't offset, but it is Vista Series and a rare bird so I will include it too!

Yup, indeed great Fender years.
I only regrett I never purshased a 12string Venus. Would be nice to have and the closest thing to a real electric XII....
Now their prices are just too much to even consider.....

There's a Venus XII in black (just like the one in the ad) on ebay at the moment....
Someone knows where I can find the nearest woodchipper to throw my pieces of junk into?

I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

You mean the one for 750 euros BIN?  :wtf: That's quite expensive. I got mine for 400 a couple of years ago and I thought that was not particularly cheap.

I think I could dig a super sonic if it wasn't for the reverse headstock - I effin hate reverse headstocks.  I know it is supposed to look like an upside down jaguar, but to me it is just too much wrong on one guitar.  I know I have posted it before but here is my wife's Venus (sounds almost nasty doesn't it!):

and here is the vista jagmaster I regret selling to this day:

Also, I think it is funny that the Venus is listed as Surf Green - call it seafoam maybe - but no way is that surf green!!!

Fender always stops making the cool stuff. Did none of this sell well or what?
