Is Anyone Else Waiting For Parts?
I've been waiting weeks for some 1000K pots from Allparts and they have no idea when they'll arrive.
Is it just the 1000K, or is this for everything?

I bought one of them Faber bridges from the UK, it arrived in Chicago in just a few days, where it inexplicably languished in customs for a month.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

My Staytrem parts, a bridge and trem arm assembly, both arrived quickly. But StewMac, Emerson, AllParts; no one has 1000K pots.

Re: Is Anyone Else Waiting For Parts?
I ordered some pots and jacks off Amazon a couple months ago and had no issues. I loath buying from them, but I had a gift card.
On the other hand I've been waiting on an EL84 for 2 months and counting now.

If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.

I think 1 Meg stuff is pretty rare, isn't it? What is it for? Maybe you can't say.
I just ordered some Kinman pickups from Ireland for my brown Stratocaster, I wonder if I'll languish in customs again. That was pretty new to me.

1meg pots are uncommon, but hardly rare. They’re standard issue in most offsets.

It's for a Squier CV Jazzmaster I'm upgrading with leftover AVRI parts from Nelvis, along with new electronics.

Re: Is Anyone Else Waiting For Parts?
I am always waiting on parts. LOL Sometimes because I forget simple things I need from a build and other times because I ordered a part that ends up not fitting. For example, my Iceman bass went through three sets of tuners before I found a set that fit it. Even that set needed me to use the original ferrules. Oddly the second set the ferrules fit perfect but the tuners backs were too wide for the headstock.
I find it funny that I usually get things from far away faster than places next to my state. Maybe Cali just sucks?

Re: Is Anyone Else Waiting For Parts?
I set of the Woodstock ones- but I bought the set used, so frankly I would have bought just about any of them. I guess the Woodstock ones are wound little hotter than some of the other ones. I think I am also reading that they are the same as the Blues set, but the Blues set artificially ages them in some way.
I can't keep it all straight with them. But, I've gone on blind faith twice now, and haven't been disappointed, so I'm sure these will be good.
This is an older set, so it does not have the hotter bridge pickup that they like to roll out now.
This set- I made an offer that was accepted. I sold the loaded pickguard from the brown Strat, none of the electronics were going to do me any good, and I always wanted a metal pickguard on there, so I just sold it all. That basically paid for the Kinmans.

Re: Is Anyone Else Waiting For Parts?
Been stuck waiting for a Coronado 2 neck and some control knobs like on the Strat Jazzmaster Pawnshop thingy that have taken over a month to arrive. That's due to slow shipping from China.... and pickups I've been waiting for even longer.
Ended up changing my controls for my Jazzmaster/Jaguar/Strat project to Jag controls as it became apparent that the Dano type stacked 1 Meg/100K pot I was going to use for the lipstick pickup wasn't going to materialise - and neither were stacked twin 1 meg pots or 1 meg pots with push/pulls.
Had no problem getting 1 meg pots though - CustomWorld in the Netherlands.
