there should be two possibly three versions of yer blues from that gig .. There certianly is at least 2 versions on the DVD and maybe even a rehearsal from a couple of days before....
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

I've watched it at a friend's place years ago...
I totally cracked when Yoko started "singing" and one of the guitar players (can't remember who) made a most horrified face...

That was Clapton with WTF face. Yoko must have blown his High at that point in time with her "singing".

The reason the movie wasn't officially released for over 30 years was that the performances of the who outshone the performace that the rolling stones did themselves (the stones played last almost at dawn) and Jagger didn't want to have the stones seen ina bad light....
30 years later, with no real need for one-up-manship between bands like the stones and the who, it looks just like a great gig, where the who just were on fire that night.
I like the Lennon/mitchell/richards/clapton combo the best (and let's not forget yoko ..... you can see where the B52s got some of their ideas from)
