As an update, it seems the rhodes stay will be short lived. I cant afford it to begin with, and it aggrivates my tendonitis.
Ah well, maybe I'll have to get a proper emulation of a rhodes someday... Thanks for the support guys:)
That's no good! (from one tendinitis sufferer to another)
If you ever get around to a proper Rhodes emulation I highly recommend the Nord Electro - does Rhodes, Wurlitzer,
and B3 (with virtual drawbars no less!). Verrrry nice.

The action on a Rhodes can be changed so you don't have to 'fight' it to play it.
Takes a while cuz you gotta tweek each note.
I'd love to have one but space is at a premium here.
There's a lot of alternatives that sound very good...

Thanks for the support guys. I have played a nord electro, and I loved it. In fact, with the AMS payment plan, I may get one soon. I prefer the way a real one reacts a bit, especially through effects, but if I cant play it, its not gonna work, and anything that endangers my hands or prevents me playing guitar is out of here.

The nord electro is a beautiful instrument. You get your super-accurate rhodes tone, as well as another super accurate rhodes tone and organ and clav and wurli and...
Anyway, yeah, they're great. The keyboardist in my band has one.
Times change. Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky? Now it grows hair! We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

If I had a dick, I would have a HUGE boner for the Nord.

I have a penis, and I REALLY want a Nord, but I don't have an erection for it. hmm...
