The 64' 12 string I played had a really, really nice neck. Just so comfortable. Not too thick, not too thin, just in between and comfortable. And the string spacing for the 12 strings was very nice compared to the old 12 string Rick I played right before it.... :-\zhivago wrote: the necks went real narrow post '65 as far as I know, apparently, '64 is the last really desirable year

Yep. I played that one a couple weeks ago too, and fuck me sideways did it ever play. I've never played an electric 12 that felt like that. The price seems reasonable too.StevenO wrote: Oh man, this thread makes me GAS for this 12-string at Capsule Music here in Toronto. I played it and it sounds great! $2500
Unfortunately I was back in yesterday and it was sold.

And I also played that Ric you were talking about right after it, and it was a total dog! +1StevenO wrote:The 64' 12 string I played had a really, really nice neck. Just so comfortable. Bitch to play, though.bdm wrote: from my personal experience the key to a good 335 is the size of the neck. big, fat neck es335s stay in tune better and i swear they sound better too!
