I tried it out with my 4x12 Orange cabinet with V30's in it. It was ok sounding but I was kind of disappointed. I figured I would try it out with my two snakeskin cabinets with the Vox blue alnico speakers and I like it so much more. The 4x12 was too bassy and middy. I was able to get a much brighter sound out of the Vox speakers. Considering the sound in my head with an Orange OR head is "The Pillows" sound, I was very happy. I went right to hooking up my Boss Blues Drive pedal and one of my Muff pedals and am pretty trilled with the sound. It is CRAZY how much different speaker sets sound with the same amp.
It has 15 and 7 watt modes with the standby switch as well as master volume, volume, treble, mid, and bass. The switches are on the front also which I wish more amps had. I hate reaching my hand behind an amp and fumbling around trying to find power and standby switches. Seems solidly built and has two 8ohm outs as well as a third 16ohm out on the back. It also has an effects loop. It is great for home and probably recording. If you mic'ed it, it is plenty loud enough to do whatever you want and they are pretty affordable really for a tube amp.
Here are pictures.
