Lol, for what it's worth, look at the board of a Rat (or pics of modern ones), find the spots marked D3/D2, and go from there. Hit me up with any questions. Or someone even more experienced.sal paradise wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 6:55 amAwesome! I have no idea what that diagram means. But that’s gonna be my little evening hobby to keep my brain busy.
Tom’sline, ‘lil rat… and rat2 for modding
And you crafty dog, all three? Well played. See how they stack up to each other and let us know your thoughts.
I actually soldered it to DEATH about 8 years ago, lifted the pad right off the board from overworking it to fix my amateurish initial job. But after a couple years in a drawer, and levelling up my soldering skillz, I jumpered one point to the other on the OTHER side of the board and brought this monster BACK to life.
So it's even worse - it's a ZOMBIE FrankenRat.
Stock 2010-ish, bought new. Those few mods and it's nigh-unbeatable. My WFRI is a bit huffy about it.
And my WFRI doesn't flicker, evilly, in the Turbo Mode it doesn't have.
