Musuar build
Hello folks,
I've been absent from here for a while but I'm embarking on a new project and am hoping someone on here might be keen/ able to help.
Really bummed to miss out on the Jarman sig Musuar when it was released the other year, and even if one turned up second hand getting it to Australia would be.. problematic.
So I figure if I can't buy one I might as well have a crack at building one!
I'm in the midst of generating a template based on pics found online - does anyone on here have one and want to help me verify my outline?
Pictured here, Jag outline in blue, Stang in red..
Will update as it comes together!

Re: Musuar build
Wow, that looks great and quiet tasteful!
Nice take on the "JagStang", but better proportioned imho.
The only thing I would change is the rear of the body, it looks a wee bit too straight to me. Perhaps ad a few degrees "offset" to make the contour a bit more fluid. Ofcourse less then the Jag, but more then the Stang. It doesn't need much.

Looking great so far! Are you planning to do it shortscale or regular?

Re: Musuar build
Love the flat-ish left side. I like a guitar that's easy to put in a stand.
Without music, life would be a mistake.

What ever came of this, if anything?
The community would probably be very interested.

Not much as yet! There were rumours of a musuar reissue so I shelved it for the minute. 2023 I’m hoping to have a bit more time in the workshop for fun projects so fingers crossed!

I wouldn't rely on photos to get the body shape right. Too much room for distortion.
You can find accurate template's for the Jaguar and Mustang. Stick them together and that is pretty much how the Musuar is.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect a reissue at any time soon...The Cribs are pretty irrelevant in popular music these days and the small niché of people that like this model is, well, small.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?
