My band have an album coming up and have just dropped this track as a preview. Recorded on my 65 Jag. The bloke who engineered and mixed it all is ex Electrical Audio so when he came back to the UK he brought all the Albini tricks with him hahaha
FFO Man Or Astro-Man?, Dick Dale, Daikaiju, all that jazz...

oh wow i've been a member for more than ten years and just discovered this thread.
i've been making music under the name "Palate" for about a year and released three albums and an ep so far. i record and produce everything by myself. it's been a great process learning how to record, mix, and master my own songs. everything is kinda post-punk/new waveish except for the Chorus album which is a sludge/noise rock record. here are the links to all of them in release order:
Viewfinder
Disco EP
Chorus
Tell Me
also, here are all my links. thank you for listening.

Have always been an "in five bands at once" kinda guy but quit everything ~6-7 months ago - living squarely at the centre of the ol' hobbling anxiety/budding agoraphobia/suicidal depression triple Venn lately.
Recorded guitar on a friend's record 3 (?) years (???) ago and he released it last week. Songs are very good. (I had nothing to do with that part. Sick tones & designated driver.) My (former) bandmates are monstrous talents.
Feeling real weird listening back. Took more time than usual in the "stu" to get, as I said, sick tones (very proud) & decent takes... I'm not a great guitarist or anything, and my influences on this one are particularly (deliberate and) obvious ("What would Andy Cohen play here if his hands were severely frostbitten?" "What would Charles Bissell do here if he simply couldn't play the guitar at all?" "What if the Kadane brothers experienced collective, catastrophic brain damage, but were still trying their best?" etc.).
Strange to hear being so detached from the whole experience of both recording these tracks & playing music with other people in general. Anyway. Hope someone enjoys.

Hey gang.
I finally released album I've been working on forever. A total solo effort [written, recorded, mixed mastered (yikes)] by me. It's just my Guild, A 1989 Yamaha PCM drum machine, and my squirrelly voice.
here's the bandcamp
and here's the Spotify if you want to earn me one one billionth of a penny
I hope you don't think it sucks!!

If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.
