Re: Show Yer Straps
I went to Wilco's Solid Sound festival this past weekend, and Souldier Straps had a booth there, so I did the responsible thing and bought a strap that I didn't need so now I have significantly more straps than guitars. This is a nice wide leather strap with the vintage fabric material sewn on the top. The wide strap is good for this 10 pound Yamaha Studio Lord boat anchor (which is filled with tonez.)

Yes, I am an Original Fuzz Addict and have been for some time now. All the Fenders except the Tele are MJT bodies. The Tele is some no name eBay pine body. Project 2 pickguard is still subject to change, still not settled with it.

Re: Show Yer Straps
I picked up this strap for $20ish...matches pretty nicely. I also just put this tort on...pretty nice, too.
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

Re: Show Yer Straps
Just got in a new strap for the Jazzmaster today. Got a new one for my Ric last week. One could say "IN THIS HOUSE WE 'STAN' SOULDIER STRAPS", and it'd be true. I think that's what the kids say anyways.

Nice array! I have one of the Blue/Green owl Souldiers (is that the Tweedy one?) on my acoustic. In my house, apart from that one Souldier, we 'Stan' Couch straps.
I keep thinking about getting one of those floor racks but your photo exactly demonstrates why I haven't...all those straps laying out are a total trip-hazard for a clumsy idiot like me

Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I have the guitars the other way around in a floor rack like that for that very reason

Re: Show Yer Straps
Yeah, that's a fair point.
Truth be told, there's not enough floor space in the tiny little room that houses all my gear, my workbench/painting desk, my wifes WFH desk AND all the Ikea Kallax storage containing her shoes/bags. On the wall is the best option.

Re: Show Yer Straps
Yeah, the reason I have them out like that is because I have plenty of room to walk around them. I was hanging the straps up with the necks of the guitars, but then they'd sometimes get tangled on other guitars when pulling them out. Unfortunately my music room is my basement, one wall is a concrete exterior wall, and the other is a very very thin wall that wouldn't hold a wall hanger.

Re: Show Yer Straps
Our walls are all concrete block internally and brick on the externals...great for secure fixings but also a pain in the ass if you just want to hang a simple picture (no chance of just tapping in a nail ).
I'm hoping the next place we move to, whenever that happens, I can chisel out a more dedicated space for my stuff, and hopefully big enough to set up a drumkit too as those have been in storage for about 8 years now
