I know it's not the intended purpose/use but just curious if anyone has experienced any benefit to a Klon-type pedal with a solid state amp or amp emulation situation. There's a Rockett Audio Archer on sale at my local shop for a killer price and I'm wondering if it'd be any value. I don't think I'm ever going to go back to a tube amp. Just too loud for the foreseeable future.
I guess I could always buy it and find out. The guy at the shop kind of talked me out of it.
Thanks!
Anybody use a Klon(e) with a solid state amp? Worth it?

My only ss amp is for bass, but I’m thinking it would work well for certain sounds.

I don't know why it wouldn't work, it's just a fancy hard-clipping overdrive. As long as you're not just using its output volume to drive the amp into overdrive like a regular clean boost then what it's being fed into should make no difference at all.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?
