Which channel are you using for pedals? I got a channel switch and try each but curious what you think.

I'm using channel 2, that sounded the best to me

I would think that due to the firmware updates being already available, V2's will have to wait a long time if they want to bring relevant changes.
By the way, to the owners, have you done any updates (bright cap, reverb, speaker ...)? how do you like them?

I know this is an older thread, but I've been looking at these recently and was wondering if anyone who has one if their opinion has changed over the last few months. Or any quirks they are now noticing. I'm seeing mostly positive reviews.

Love mine too. Had it for about a year now, it’s so refreshing to have such a light amp that isn’t finicky with valves and volume control. I just wish this pandemic was over so I could actually play gigs with it...

I was poking around as saw this Tone Master Super Reverb
Probably still too loud for me but when the Tone Master Princeton Reverb comes out, they might get my money.

Re: Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amp.
After reading this thread and many reviews, and realizing that once gigging starts again I will not relish carrying my DRRI around, I finally bit the bullet on one of the blonde DRTMs. I haven't used it in a band setting yet, but so far I'm pretty impressed. My Rat and compressor on it just sing and feedback perfectly.
I haven't looked through the whole thread recently, but has anyone tried the firmware update? I'm a little afraid to do it (although it may already be done, for all I know, since I bought it used).

The firmware update is really only relevant for the original DR, improving the reverb control and “snipping” the bright cap. If I remember right both of those are already implemented on the blonde one.daemon wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 6:07 pmAfter reading this thread and many reviews, and realizing that once gigging starts again I will not relish carrying my DRRI around, I finally bit the bullet on one of the blonde DRTMs. I haven't used it in a band setting yet, but so far I'm pretty impressed. Cool, good to know, one less thing to worry about! I was a bit relieved to let go of the tube version, as it was just another thing to obsess over to make sure I'm getting all the tonez.ThatGuyOverThere wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 5:21 amThe firmware update is really only relevant for the original DR, improving the reverb control and “snipping” the bright cap. Speaking of, not sure how much truth there is to this but it coincidentally popped up the day I sold my other amp:

Re: Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amp.
I recently picked up a used Tone Master Deluxe Reverb (after looking around locally for a TM Twin), and I @#$%ing love it!!
I haven't done the firmware update yet as I'm still in the "getting to know you" stage with it, but that'll happen soon.
Does anyone know where I can source the footswitch for it? Mine didn't come with it.
I have a two-button switch that I tried out. One button does nothing, while the other turns the trem on and off.

Re: Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amp.
Used mine for the first time at band practice and damn if it doesn't deliver the goods. I had it at around 8 on full wattage and it was really responsive both with and without pedals (RAT and TC Cinders overdrive), just a joy to play. I was also able to lay it flat in my hatchback on the way over, something I would've never attempted with my tube DRRI.
