That Jaguar Bass has a 32 inch scale. And the ugliest pickup imaginable.
Isn’t it exactly what the guy from Royal Blood does for his basses? One humbucker on a shorter-scale Jaguar bass? Seems like Squier is on the mark releasing this now, considering how big an influence that band seems to be.

I'm curious to hear some demos of the Jag bass. I like the simplicity of a single pickup bass. Still mad that it isn't coming in BMM though.

Squier is full of good options for the rock n roll set. Price and style are right on - and these new options are no exception!
Burgundy mist is such a great vibe! If there's a jazz bass with a maple neck and burgundy mist... Mercy! And I agree with other about that Jaguar bass: cool cool COOL!

I wish the Bronco bass would get some cool color options, too. It's not quite the drop-dead bargain it once was, but it's still super cool!

I've wanted a short scale bass for years but could never justify it. I guess I need to buy this.

those comp stripe mustangs look great!
the squier bullet line has lots of cool-looking options, but I wish there were basses in the mix.

That seems to be the thing with PF fretboards, huh? Mine was insanely dry, and darkened up nicely, but soaked up at least 2 coats of linseed oil. It probably wouldn't have photographed well, but the change is so drastic it's almost like bait-and-switch to oil it for photos, but then you get something crazy light.

The black and gold Mustang would look cool with gold anodized pickguard.

These guitars don't use pau ferro though, they use some kind of ficus ("Indian laurel") which naturally has loose grain and a greyish-brown cast. The photos just look blown out in terms of light (check out the headstocks).
