Hi folks,
I recently acquired a Fender Bassman 10 and a Kremona Violin Bass.
That setup sounds awesome, but it is really low volume with that Bass.
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=118799 <-- NBD
The Pickups are rated between 3,4k and 4,2k, that is a hint there.
Compared to my Rickenbacker 360 with hi gains it is like 20-30% of the Volume.
From Rehearsal to Bed-Room Volume, kinda.
Two ways out of it:
1) Adding any clean-boosting Pedal
2) Changing PU´s or get them rewinded.
Any other options?
Im not sure what would be the best way to do it.
Sound-wise it is dead-perfect to what i imagined how it should sound,
im really happy with the whole thing!
I got a Two-Notes Captor to silence record the whole quiet at home.
NBD, NBAD, NPD will follow
E-Bass Signal is too quiet. boost it?

Have you checked and measured the wiring and the pots? Is it all working properly or are there any weird resistors or caps soldered in?

no ideas? i think the wiring works! or would pics help?
one more thought about pickups, what would happen if i put cheap goldfoil- guitar pickups in there?
that could be a cool combination, right?
otherwise id go for höfner-style copy ones. rated around 10k id think
Id like to stay on the cheaper side of life.

no affil, but those are in the exact same measurement then the original ones. rated to 6k
