new dressing room? new features?
to admin: will there be a new dressing room? or is it just really good hidden on the new website?
if so, I got some variations to chose from to be included in the new dressing room if possible.
1) Bindings. Simply because I love bindings on guitars and all of mine have it. There are pictures of a vintage jaguar (even in a fender ad if I remember correctly) with single binding.
and of course the various versions of thinline jaguars and jazzmasters there are with double bindings.
2) speaking of thinlines... a option for either a "f-hole", cateye or similar or as well none would be great. (I'd love to build myself a jag/jm with a thinline style double bound body with matching headstock in either sonic grey, satin black or charcoal frost metallic.)
3) for all the combination-freaks... Reverse Headstocks as well as Firebird or Starcaster/Bilt Headstock and EGC aluminium necks/heads would be nice (at least for some)
4) a fairly small but optically huge change: open german silver/chrome frames for single coil and or humbucker pickups. there can't be too much chrome on a Jaguar, can it?
feel free to discuss these options and/or add your ideas!

Is the dressing room coming back. I hope so. It’s good fun messing with it

i didn't see this thread...but asked in the main question section.
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

The dressing room is, IMHO, one of the most important factor is engaging in the lunatic world of offset obsession.

Please see my post above. It's still there, it still works, it's still flash-based. The direct link on the site seems to be gone, but the assets aren't.GhostPlayer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:34 amThe dressing room is, IMHO, one of the most important factor is engaging in the lunatic world of offset obsession.

Re: new dressing room? new features?
If it does come back, which I really hope it does (since it has helped me spec many builds) - it would be really nice to see some of the post 60's colors added to the system. Here's a short list of favorites, but I'm sure the forum could come up with many more.
Capri Orange/Competition Orange
Graffiti Yellow
Sage Green Metallic
Blizzard Pearl
Autumn Blaze Metallic
Olive
Sonic Gray
Wine Red
Gun Metal Red and Blue
(Burst options of these, a la Jaguars from Japan)

Re: new dressing room? new features?
What would be cool is if they only had the shade of colors as an option, and then a separate option for clearcoat. You could all the colors, classic Fender and otherwise, and then the clearcoat option could just be an overlay to be glossy, semi-gloss, matte, none, or sparkle/metallic. You could theoretically see what ANY color would look like as a metallic/sparkle, even if they never have been.kalipigeon wrote: ↑Fri Aug 10, 2018 7:19 pmIf it does come back, which I really hope it does (since it has helped me spec many builds) - it would be really nice to see some of the post 60's colors added to the system. Taos Turquoise and Maui Blue, please!
And aged Firemist Silver, based on Rexter's refinishes.
Plus something closer to this kind of mocha finish
