Baritone idea!
I've been debating what body shape to do for a Baritone for awhile and I thought a Jazzcaster would be a great platform.
Would this be the perfect tonal combination or not? JM neck, Strat middle, Tele bridge...

Re: Baritone idea!
sure why not?
do a 7-way switch for full tone potential.

Re: Baritone idea!
I'd honestly probably do a 3-way blade switch and do two concentrics pots (volume and tone each: one for master of the main, one for the middle pickup only (wired directly to the output jack)), but that's not a bad idea either...burntumber wrote:sure why not?

Re: Baritone idea!
my custom has a 5 position rotary for strat settings
then the volume knob pops up to activate the neck pickup
so I can get bridge+neck in 1st position, and all 3pickups in 2nd.
there's many different ways to do 7 way switching on a 3 pickup guitar.
for me, this makes the most sense.
I can have neck+bridge on for a rhythm sound
then slap the volume knob down and just have the bridge for a lead tone.

Re: Baritone idea!
go full custom. when i first saw it, i forgot you were lefty. but how cool would it be as a right handed guitar? so build it right-hand reverse...or in your case left-hand reverse.
so use a right handed body but load all the pickups and switches for lefty. like a tele-carbonita boracha-master.

What is acoustic? Oh, you means a grandpa's guitars? A grandpa's guitars? That's for pussies and grandpas. I think you know it.

It's been seven years. I'm not sure too many updates are forthcoming
