Please recommend what you think are the best Capo's available today.

here's a vote for Shubb. i have the "original C series" model and it's an excellent little device.

I have one of the standard Keyser clamps, and it's not very good. It was clearly made for flat Gibson-style fretboards, if i put it on any of the first three frets the E and A strings end up semi-muted. Pretty annoying.

I'm a Shubb fan, myself.  The fact that you can adjust the tension helps eliminate tuning problems.  Kysers are okay, but you always have to retune, and I think sometimes the pressure isn't equal across the fingerboard.

I've got a shubb for my electrics, and one of those forearm exercisers (I'm guessing it's a Keyser) for my acoustic, doesn't throw my acoustic out, but it does a number on my electrics.

I use Kyser acoustic Capo's. I like the variety they offer. I have a couple of the standards, a 12 string model, and a couple of the shorties. I also have 2 of a modified version modified version that I use for a special, alternate tuning. I have never used a capo on my electrics.

These are kind of cool - they're quick like Kyser or Dunlop Trigger capos, but you can adjust the tension:

I use one of these. Dunno what its called. It looks like a Victorian torture implement.

You can adjust the tension on these too....

It's not spring-loaded like some of the ones above but it's another one to consider I suppose.
