Which coily cable?

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Apparently the answer to the question posed in this thread is “all of them”.

And clearly my mission now is to buy all of them and compare how much I dislike each :D
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I put some Neutrik jacks on one of the 'dead' Vox coily cables this morning, and cut about 6ft of the cable off at the same time. Obviously it came back to life (bad moulded jacks) and in the process sliced the capacitance down to 668pf. No detectable high-end loss now...I think <700pf is the magic number.

I'm so old I remember when all you could buy were the coiled guitar cables... and you didn't need speaker cables since your "normal" channel on your guitar amp was your PA system.
