It's just got such a nice sound at the moment - the bridge is a convertible top load or string through job, and (whisper it) I think I prefer it top loading at the moment * abandons all good-ole-boy credentials *

*** EDIT: There used to be a post here ^^^, I'm not just talking to myself ***

It would leave me with two non-trem guitars, but once the tele's done, my Tokai might have to be replaced with a...

Yeah, from what I've played (not much) I don't really like the tone of Teles with Bigbsys, but maybe the ones I played weren't very well set up is all. Stock bridge =  :-*.
Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger

damnit, you guys have reminded me how badly I want a beat  up pink, or blue I suppose, paisley telecaster.  I played one at a local shop and it was quite nice.  t sold before I got back there with the cash though:(

Teles are awesome because you can punch them in the face and they still love you.

I'm beyond in love with my TCII.
I prefer their older stuff.

Here's a pic of my Tele Custom from Thanksgiving Eve.  Would've brought out the JM, but it was the first time at this club-I'd rather know where I am with that one around!

Destiny's in her evening gown; you're always running late.
You tell her she looks wonderful but she'll just have to wait.
