I ordered a Guild Polara S100 from Guitar Center and it arrived damaged so I swapped it for this. I really like it. I love the double bound body and maple neck. The Grover tuners are really good. I think the pickups in it sound great and I think the coil split option via the tone pot is cool. Schecter makes such good stuff. I am never disappointed. Dual slug humbuckers.
Schecter SuperRock II Pickups
Made with giant sized Alnico-V pole pieces give this pickup an aggressive midrange growl. The well balanced coil winding make this pickup perfect for a wide range of styles of music. Great vintage tone in Single coil mode when Push-Pull knob is pulled up.

My friend got this exact one a few years back to replace a terrible 90s no-brand shred style guitar. It sounds great. He loves it & get the feeling he’ll never buy another guitar.
I think these were first released in the 80s as USA models with Telecaster headstocks. Made me realise I knew little about Schecter & sent me down a wormhole of reading their history.
Enjoy
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?

Congrats. I’ve never played a Schecter that didn’t play good. Never. Doesn’t matter where it was made.

I've always been pretty curious about these since learning that PT (Pete Townshend) used one in the worst era of The Who
If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.
