Any nice SGs there? I know they’re not as popular these days around here (used to be quite a few of us SG guys).

I love SG's but they don't agree with my playing style. Well, my holding-the-guitar style. I'm forever bending the tuning sharp or flat just by manhandling the thing.

Some of these guitar threads almost sound like the Dating Game . Let’s fix Johnny up with this one. He likes to buy guitars!

Scene one:
M: Johnny, I was just talking to my friend down on the corner and she has a lovely girl that would be perfect for you!
J: That’s nice and all, but I’m not really looking right now.
M: Oh, let me just show you a picture. She’s a very lovely girl!
J: Yes ma, she’s a pretty one, but she’s not my type. She’s got a flimsy neck.
M: Now how could you know that Johnny, if you haven’t played her?
J: I just know these things ma. From past experience. It’s not her, it’s just the way I play. We wouldn’t be compatible.
M: Well then. There’s no helping you.

Girls with flimsy necks are dangerous, they can twist and bend and get you in all sorts of trouble. I'm fine with a nice stable girl, Ma. One I can throw around without getting bent out of shape

I definitely like looking at them. Don’t like playing them. That damn middle pickup gets in the way. I had an Epiphone version for a few months back in the day.

JC (the Levi's guy) actually departed a while ago. Cezar is currently at the helm. Interestingly enough on his Instagram he documented building his own Gibson guitar in the factory. Seems like (at least) an enthusiastic guy from what I've seen and heard on a couple of podcasts he did a while back.
