For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

Who will be the first aging indie rocker dude to play one? Malkmus? Tweedy? Meloy?

Or will it be the elder zoomer kings who strike first. Styles or..... that's all I know.

All I Do know that there will be at least one notable dude equiping of these tiny guitars soon in a vague space between irony and unitonic appreciation.
If it wasn't for disappointment, I wouldn't have any appointments.

Fingers crossed for a Phoebe Bridgers B.C. Rich signature Warlock.

Incredible timing, they’ve just gone on hiatus. I assume to make solo albums. Each time I’ve seen Lucy she’s closed on an unreleased song and it’s absolutely heartbreaking, so I need LD4 sooner than later.

Mentioning individual signatures, I’d be very interested in a Dacus Jet, and a Baker telecaster would have a lot of potential to be very cool.

This is so cool. A real boost for girls, knowing that they're guitar heroes, too.

And it looks like a great guitar. I like smaller semi-hollows. A 335 swallows me up.

We have the non-boygenius version of this guitar (with the v-stoptail bridge) in our house and it's a VERY nice guitar, especially for the money.
My knowledge of Gretsch is non-existent, what's the model please?

Good to know the quality is decent, these are only available through their website so no chance to try before you buy.
Sorry for the delay and I know this was already answered but we have the Gretsch G2655 in midnight saffire. I think it was $400 on a year-end deal from Music Go Round or somewhere like that. Really can't speak enough to how nice of a guitar it is. And it doesn't feel small to me.

Can't wait to see them listed for £1500

Although I'm annoyed I didn't jump on one if anything just to flip (hey, I got a gear habit to fund, give me a break :D )
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

If I’d realised they had a stated limited production run Inprobably would’ve bought one out of FOMO and the presence of a gretsch shaped hole in my collection. Probably for the best I didn’t.

Eh, just get a regular G2655. It'll be cheaper, too, and you can say it's the same guitar that Malcom Young (close enough) AND boygenius played.

But muh fancy inlays...
The gretsch I actually want is the 2016 FSR Country Gent in Cadillac Green. I know who owns the one that I played and thought was incredible. Whole different ballpark of guitar.
