And it's pretty epic.
I wouldn't kick it out of bed, that's for sure. The only way to improve it would be a pair of black Firebird pickups, in black with black rings. Or a pair of Firebirds in JM covers, like I just bought here on the board.
It's way cooler and much more upscale, but it kinda reminds me of my "domino" Jazzbird body I put together a few years ago. It's just that that one was a JM body with Firebird pickups instead of a Firebird body with JM pickups:

It was a $250 body that came with fun routing, nice quality finish, pickguard, and was even loaded with hardware and electronics. I wasn't looking a gift horse in the mouth.

Nice score! Reminds me of those 80s guitars in that colour scheme, looked like survey equipment from spacecraft.
