Haha, didn’t even realise what I was writing and just adding confusion. MIJ do ‘67, ‘68 & ‘69 basically all the same guitar. I've come across RW models as well, but they are scarce. Last year there was a so called "Late 60s" model available in Japan, big headstock, RW fretboard.
I have both a ST-67 (1986/7) and the ST-68 (2012ish), there is a big difference in the neck profile, the ST-67 is very skinny while the ST-68 feels quite chunky.
