Yup, me tooo.
A 360 but with binding, so that makes it much harder to find. And while I love Fireglo, those browns are to-die-for!

Are there any Rickenbackers that have a chunky neck profile (front to back).
Skinny nut's (ooo-errr) are my jam but slim profiles are 100% not.

Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

I've really only played a handful but all of them were pleasantly thin and to my liking. I love Hagstroms and Mustang necks for reference.johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 12:52 amAre there any Rickenbackers that have a chunky neck profile (front to back).

I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

You know, I had a 330 for a few years, and all I can say is just throw your preconceptions out. If you view it in terms of how you like your Fender type guitars and your Gibson type guitars it's not either of them, you have to totally approach it as its own thing.johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 12:52 amAre there any Rickenbackers that have a chunky neck profile (front to back).

I found not only did the necks feel Rickenbacker and nothing else, but my playing also changed when I played it. That was kind of cool.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Very true. It’s really cool to hear other stuff come out and the same stuff sound/feel different.Larry Mal wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 1:10 pmYou know, I had a 330 for a few years, and all I can say is just throw your preconceptions out. (I’m discovering that playing a Jaguar after years of Rickenbackers is making me play differently as well!).

Harry White builds "Rics" in the UK to whatever specs you'll give him, thinking about saving up for a 340 or 370OS build from him...johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 12:52 amAre there any Rickenbackers that have a chunky neck profile (front to back).

Re: suddenly SUPER into Rickenbacker 360's GAS post
I enjoyed owning a Ric 360 for a few years. I sold it because I eventually discovered I could get my Jaguar to sound very, very close to it, but the Jag is more comfortable to play, has a tremolo, and has more sonic possibilities. It's also a lot easier to string. So, I sold the Ric and I don't miss it.
