The tone knob is new. I also think the volume knob was not in the standard strat position on the DeLonge strat.

They've added a tone knob and removed Tom Delonge's name. Much better imo.

A tone knob is totally superfluous in this particular instance I feel. And has pushed the volume knob back into 'right in the fucking way' like every other Strat :k

Agreed! Tom's signature Strat had the volume pot in the middle tone position I always thought.

Yeah the controls seem to have been changed to make things worse, but can be put to DeLonge spec by changing the pickguard

Looks interesting. I don't think I will get it bc I'm not a fan of either single pup guitars or humbuckers, but I'm glad squier is making more signature models and getting some more higher end models. I almost prefer to buy squier instead of fender at this point, just don't like that the average price of them has gone up as well.

I've managed to forget most of Blink's big songs, so I don't recognise this. Which means that when I read it, it rings in my head with a massive Brummie accent.

Is this a Slade album track that I don't know of?

That was my immediate thought. They re-broke the only thing that model actually fixed.

I do remember the original. I sometimes ask myself, what is my age again?

It's a bit odd that they're intentionally targeting Blink 182/Tom fans by calling it out in the description but you can't find this guitar anywhere in the US?

Fun fact: I happen to know from experience that the band is known (and even more shockingly: appreciated) outside of their home country.
