That’s a beautiful burst on that 360! Congratulations! This is not helping my problem with intermittent RIc 12-string GAS! What amp are you playing it through with your band?
I was using a stock PRRI that I’ve had for the last decade. And since posting I have tried through my Bandmaster Reverb and I preferred the Princeton. Which is typically the case for all my electrics unless I’m playing steel.

As for compressors, I have this DOD compressor that does the trick. I tend not to fuss with too many pedals and I feel that it does the Compressed 12 String thing pretty well! That being said, I’d love to try some other comps with it and see what jives the best. I use my volume and tone knobs a lot and I will admit that I was struggling with rhythm and lead volume levels while the compressor was engaged. Any remedy or easy advice that I’m missing out on?

That’s good to know. I have a SFPR and expect that the Ric would match up well with it. A former band mate of mine had a 370 model in a six string format and I always thought it sounded it little raunchy (in a good way) through my amp. It kind of surprised me because I think of clean sounds when I think of these instruments. I guess I’m guilty of pigeonholing guitars based on appearances and associations.

I'll be back in the Ric 12 club soon! I can't wait!

and congrats on the beautiful guitar!
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

… and probably obvious, but you can always take of the octave strings and play it as a 6 string if the mood strikes.
