Just picked this up, big upgrade from my lower-tier Yamaha acoustic. My GAS has focused on upgrading my electrics for a long time, it is nice to have something on par in the acoustic realm now. So resonant, almost feels like built in reverb with open tunings. This is my first electric-acoustic, which I wanted for recording/gigging. Sounded good with the acoustic amps I tried in the store (Fender, Fishman, Acoustic, Yamaha THR). The Fishman MX-T pickup has mixed reviews, might require some EQ solutions. I don’t have an acoustic preamp pedal or amp, might have to look into those possibilities.

Awesome been looking at one of these online. How’s the neck shape is it slimmer and electric player friendly?

My bandmate has one of these, amazing guitar especially for the money. I will say, the neck is a bit bigger if you’re coming from electric guitar, but definitely comfortable and player friendly

Neck feels pretty good to me after playing mostly electric for a long time. I attempted to record directly from the internal pickup to my interface to GarageBand acoustic presets. Sound was plinky, not great. Will have to look for a solution. Was hoping for a direct signal path (don’t have an isolated recording space), but acknowledge mics would be better. Pickup specs mention a internal preamp, would a acoustic-specific preamp pedal be redundant or improve things? Will try my Pigtronix Philosophers Tone compressor pedal at some point.
