I’ve been listening to a ton of Latin music from my youth lately, and I realized that it’s been inspiring my songwriting a ton and my steel-string acoustics really don’t give me the sound I’m looking for. After researching classical guitars for a while, I settled on a La Patrie/Godin classical. I went for the Presentation model because I’m not a huge fan of super glossy guitars so the semi-gloss finish seems right up my alley. I like that they have truss rods and they seem like really good quality for the money (all solid wood!). I sent an offer on reverb and the seller accepted immediately so now I wait! I haven’t looked forward to a NGD this much in a while!!

Nice!
I've got a soft spot for classical guitars- and like you, I prefer the non-glossy finishes.
Pluck away! (Or, pluck off?)
