I've bought an SG - pg2, it has arrived

For guitars of the straight waisted variety (or reverse offset).

It arrived today. Boxed but in a gigbag so I was taking pictures as I unboxed it in case of the ol' headstock snappage. All good though and in one piece.

I haven't been able to play it really as I stupidly sliced my left hand index finger in two places with some misguided scissors this afternoon and it's still kinda an open wound and sore (despite superglueing it shut). From what little I've played of it it seems great. Neck is actually nice and chunky as desired. Kind of a fat D (ooh-err) profile.

Sounds pretty bright and clear for humbuckers too after I lowered them a little. I put 12-54's on and tweaked the truss rod. Hopefully it'll settle overnight and I can give it a proper setup and play (finger dependent). G string seems to go out of tune with every bend so that'll need some attention.

You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

SG Specials are pretty great.
All pain and troubles melted away like lemon drops beyond the contrails across the sky.

I think you should make those white squiggly lines from the window reflection permanent somehow. Looks really cool.
