1950's Road Worn Stratocaster in Surf Green

Post by HNB » Sun May 01, 2022 1:39 pm

I have a black one of these and saw this one at Ted Brown a couple times this month and decided to bring it home. I like these because I don't feel like they need modding. Tone pot for the bridge pickup. Tex Mex pickups are nice Stratocaster pickups and come stock. The bridge is nice. I like the thinner worn finish. Tuners are good. Nothing to complain about. :D

that's a really nice looking strat, and the relic actually looks good too.
strats have quickly become my favorite guitar over the last few years but they are the bane of my guitar existence because the ones I find that I actually like the necks on are always over 1k.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

I used to not like strats, but I have grown to appreciate how comfortable they are and the variety of sounds that you can get with just a basic strat.

totally with you on this assessment of the strat. I can get the one I use to do a lot of cool stuff with little effort and it plays nicely. I just want another more expensive one because that's my mindset.
