I know they started in 2010, because that's the year mine was made from.

I think until 2017 or so.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

I might still get one of the new Epiphones first, because it seems like they do all the main Firebird things (through-neck, proper pickups) for a very reasonable price. If down the road you get a change to try one of the Steinberger-equipped Firebirds and you vastly prefer that, I reckon you can sell the Epiphone without losing a whole lot of money on it, and if you have to go switching pickups and so forth you might have a better idea of what you are after.
