I am kinda digging the FSR of these in Olive and Oxblood. £400 is pocket change for a guitar these days. I'd pick one up if they weren't an Andertons exclusive, not giving those morons any of my money.
Guess I'll wait a few months for them to hit the used market

When in doubt, get the pictures from Fender's website, put them to a relative scale (like 10 or 20%), and surimpose them... Taking into account there must be a variation in angles or lens distortion, it's never exactly precise, but if it matches pretty close, it matches in real life. In that case, save for the bridge (one is modern, the other isn't), everything lines up: neck pickup, control plate, body, pickguard, frets... It's definitely a conversion neck.

Thanks everyone - I guess I'll take a punt on the CV Baritone. Typically, on my drive into work this morning it became apparent I have a repair bill on the horizon, but at least these guitars aren't a limited run, so hopefully sooner or later there'll come a time when I can afford one.

Actually, with the passage of time I'd forgotten this is probably a moot point for me now, as a local guitar shop owner assured me I could probably have the big scratch on the top of my MIJ Custom Tele buffed out by a local luthier for a fraction of the price of the Squier. (Haven't got round to going along for a quote yet, though.)
That said, I might just get the MIJ CT finish restored and flog it to fund the purchase of the Squier with some cash left over.
