What year/era is this guitar? If it's not too old and valuable then do what you want, burst LP's are ten-a-penny

I fucking love shell pink guitars, but I'm with everyone else on here, that's a gorgeous plain top, don't refinish it.

I definitely agree that if you love the guitar, and it's not a vintage worth money or anything, do what you wish. If I wanted a shell pink LP (which I LOVE the idea of), I'd go find a flamed or quilted maple LP, which I've always thought were hideous.

Maybe someone in the OSG family would buy your plaintop, so you'd have the cash for Shadow's idea.

Nice! I'd go for hot pink and maybe a black pickguard though, because I'm a bit broken.

I also don't care about the value of Les Pauls, or anything much about them really.

Do it. World has enough LPs (obviously unless it is old/valuable...)

That's not broken! Pink and black go together VERY well. Like a guitar version of the Pink Ladies from Grease ;)

I like the old Custom Lite with the pinkish finish and would probably buy one if I found one for a reasonable price.

Thank you. It’s only a 1960 model, I hear the 1959 ones are worth the most.

Thinking about scalloping the frets and and putting on a Floyd Rose too.
