That’s a gorgeous guitar. Are you rounding the butt What off more, or is this a different model? I always liked the chrome plated version, but thought the butt was too angular and not curved enough.

That is: compared to the guitar design I was drawing and intended to build 6-7 years ago. The front horns and the rest are almost exactly what I was going for. This one, without the chrome plate and a curved butt is perfect!

Good eye. My Apollo model, (which this one is), is a bit narrower and more rounded off in the "hip area", than the Artemis model is (previous lavender post). They have a lot of shared elements, but other areas where they differ. I think of them as twin designs, like the Greek god twins, Artemis and Apollo, that I took the names from.

"Apollo represented the sun and day, whereas Artemis’ domain was the night and everything touched by moonlight. The divine twins were effectively two sides of the same coin — inseparable yet different."

Thanks Chipper! First try at that, but I'll be doing more.

----

The vinyl strap I was using on my Artemis 001 build, was creating some strap rash on the nitro finish. So I needed a new strap for that guitar. I found that a local artist in Ferndale, makes straps featuring their artwork, so I bought one (and some cool stickers). It has rainbow stitching and hardware and it's beautifully made.

Annie, also happens to play guitar in a band called Norcos Y Horchata. They are going on a small tour in a few days, so I thought I'd share that info too.

RightOn! straps are my favourites. They do other stuff as well, but for me their USP is the motorsport inspired ones.

I went for the British Racing Green and yellow Lotus style to match my bass.

They also have black/gold like JPS Lotus, sky blue/orange like Gulf racing, white with red and blue stripes like Hesketh (or Herbie, if you prefer) amongst others.

Made from vegan 'leather' - I'm not vegan, but being a bit more environmentally friendly is nice, and it feels like leather to me.

All my straps are Mother Mary. I'm in to their unique designs and the fabric is lovely and stuff. Grips nicely and feels secure.

Here's my favourite one, loads of cats ;D

That is some acrylic sheet, that Ponoko stocks. I had them laser cut the outline and holes, and did the edge bevel and countersinks myself. It was one of the easier pickguards I've done. They have sold red and lavender versions of the material in the past, so there are probably more colors, if one could find the original source.

This Guitar Is Very Attractive!

I mostly use the None More Black straps by Couch. I have a few other colors but all my straps are made by Couch.
