Such a cool idea. Where did you score that body?

It popped up on Reverb as a loaded body. I didn’t want the pick guard because it had normal humbuckers and I convinced the seller to take a lower offer for the bridge, body, and jack. Going to black guard it up and maple neck it. I felt the urge for a deluxe that is beat a little. I think the tremolo adds some versatility that deluxes don’t have as a hard tail. It also makes it a bit lighter because of the tremolo rout.

Oh I took the foil out and started proper shielding paint. Nothing against foil other than there were gaps and holes in it. I just prefer painting it on.

Here are some picks I took earlier today in natural light.
It is a strong (candy) pink colour that i just selected from those various paint sample cards one can get and then asked the guy finishing it to use the paint colour specs in nitro.

I had the body and neck specially made by USA Customer Guitars, which i have just discovered no longer exist.

Looks beautiful! I love how well centered the neck looks. One of my OCD things I always notice.

It is funny, but I am the same way. I am normally not someone who likes that either, but I thought since this was pretty much a deluxe, but weird because it has a tremolo that it could conjure up some interesting ideas and get imaginations going.
