What's not to love? Of course, I always have to advocate for an aged white pearl pickguard, but that's what I always do. :)

Thanks! I like aged pearl, but I was going for a less buy look with the mint. :D

Welp, great. After this and looking at photos of Robert Poss's fiesta red SC-1s now I want one too.

I wouldn't talk you out of it. It is a classy color. I have had almost every type of Fender in that color. :)

Did some pickguard wiring. Just missing the pickups. :D

One weird thing is the tremolo block sits slightly proud of the body. I haven't had this with an MJT body before. It is like the body is slightly too slim? It won't impact function and I don't tend to use back plates anyways, but still odd. I emailed them to ask what is up.

One of my strats does the same thing. I think there's quite some variance in those bridge blocks

Was it a Fender body or an aftermarket like mine?

Pickups came in and I got them all wired up and connected the guard. :) Looking nice!

FYI Pickups are Hot Texas Blues sold by Stratosphere. The demos online sounded good. Sort of similar to Texas Specials or Tex Mex sets.
Description: Hot Texas Blues for Fender Stratocaster Single Coil Pickup Set- Staggered, Enamel-Coated Alnico 5- Cream Covers

Average Output: Neck 6.4K, Middle 6.4K (Reverse Wound/Reverse Polarity), Bridge 7.2K

I tried swapping a MIA bridge block with a MIM body. Not even close to the same size

That's really weird. I wonder if it was one of the out-of-spec Landon-era USACG bodies MJT got when they bought the remaining inventory.

Did you measure the thickness?
