aesthetically, that's late '80s in all the right ways (reminding me somewhat of a Rickenbacker 230 I used to have, but all better in all regards).
I'm sure it sounds and plays great, too. Congratulations on all fronts.
Thanks! It sounds and plays fantastic. The frets might need some work or replacing in a wee bit.

These are fantastic guitars. My all-time favorite G&L.

I rocked a yellow one just like this, but a year older, for many years. It had to go on the chopping block to fund a ‘68 tele I fell in love with.

I've been on the lookout for one for years. I fell in love with them at Black Market music in San Francisco, back around '99. Wish I'd bought the nearly identical one they had.

I reckon the '68 Tele was worth it.

It was/is, though perhaps only just!

One day I might like to have an older ASAT again

Black Market Music was super intimidating for this young(er) indie punk -- no price tags meant I always felt I was getting the "clueless shopper" negative discount. I got my first bass amp there for too much for a carpeted crate combo, but we still have the Musicmaster bass amp from there a few years later, which was $99 well spent.

Love that ASAT, I didn’t get into them til ~’97 or so but love the ASAT Special, among others (ASAT and others).
