Low budget double cut guitar ?
Looking at black double cut guitars. I'm drooling after certain Cort and Hamer models but since I probably have better chance of getting blind date with Scarlett Johansson than finding these models over here in EU area, I'm open for new ideas. I like that PRS style double cut design, upper horn slightly longer. Even horns might give neckdive anyway. Ibanez has some nice dc's too but can't find those older models anywhere. I'm getting really frustrated.
So, asking for suggestions here, something in 200-500€ range. Black, PRS-ish design, tune-o-matic and stoptail. Oh, and no chubby neck. (No harley benton)
Thanks in advance.

I have the 117 of these (same guitar, but with a trem) and it is excellent. Not exactly a skinny neck, but not quite clubby either.

Angle of strap button is awful, heh. Probably need to put "custom strap lock" like I have in my Les Paul. Thanks, I'll keep my eyes open for these.sessylU wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 2:52 amhttps://westoneguitars.net/guitars/pres ... stige-250/

Could I have neck Width & thickness of your Westone, if you don't mind measuring?

Yamaha Revstar RS420 ? (thin-ish neck - higher models are thicker)

Charvel Desolation DC-1, 2, or 3 would be my first recommendation. GREAT guitars for the price, and usually in decent supply.
The necks on these are nice and thin, though the raw mahogany feel can take a little getting used to.

Huh, that strap button is weird. That's not where mine is. Mine is a 117, like this:Dee_thirteen wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 4:15 amAngle of strap button is awful, heh. I'll try to get some measurements, but don't have calipers or anything.

Vote #2 for the Yamaha -- see if you can buy used, because I've seen those $900 top-of-the-range ones go for around the $400 mark. Very very well made, the pickups actually sound good out of the box, the hardware is super functional, and there's no fatal flaw to the design in terms of balance, control layouts, feel, or QC.

I've been gazing at this exact guitar in this exact finish on their website for at least a couple months. YOU'RE NOT HELPING!! Good tuning stability? Did you need to swap out anything on yours?Maggieo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:00 amSlick guitars are surprisingly great guitars. I've got one:

I didn't have to swap out a thing!
The bridge pickup is a little anemic, but that might be sample variation. Their PUPs are all quik-connect, so I might just order a new one. But really, I don't have to do that.
