I stopped buy Guitar Center on my way home from my mothers. They had a sale going and I saw this for less than $150 and picked it up. I figured I could do my own Mascis on a budget build. I already ordered a mirror guard. I plan on updating the pickups, pots, knobs, switch, and tuners. The nice thing about these Indonesian Teles is the tuners have some good direct drop in replacements that require no modding. I also really enjoy how thin the finish on the neck is. Barely anything there. I have grown to really dislike thick painted necks. These also have nice fretboard wood and are string through bridges. I can't find anything to complain about. They are pretty nice as is. I just want to work on it for fun. Here are pictures. (Funny enough it is the same as a black one I picked up used at a pawn shop when I was on a walk to the end of my neighborhood.)

I have one of these too, but swapped the neck since I prefer maple. I dont really put it to good use, though...

Got the pickups changed out and the pots changed out. New pickguards look really nice. These have stock humbucker neck pickup routing. The shielding on it is done better honestly than many of the MIM Fenders I have opened up recently.
