NGD: MJT Tele Dx
Just done putting this one together. MJT body, Allparts Jazzmaster neck. Got it dialed in really good with a nice and low action. Might try 11s on next string change.

Nice! I love the color. What are the pickups?

They are run of the mill Fender pretend WRHB, and I was planning on either replacing them or sending them out to one of the pickup gurus, but with 500k pots they sound pretty good. I got them set very low, and that seems to help too.

Nice looking guitar. I have used the Fender WRHB's with 1meg pots with success. I think they sound nice. Not like the originals from back in the day, but they have a nice sound of their own in my experiences with them.

Than you @tequila_in_teacups
I have gotten into the habit of having a Timmy always on, dialed just to as a bit of od, almost a clean boost, and I like how it works with humbuckers. Next time I feel like poking at things in this guitar, I should try 1 meg pots.

There isn't a super huge difference, but they just sound more open to me with one meg.

I have a Tele with a DiMarzio bridge and one of these not-exactly WRHB's in the neck. I don't have a "real" one to compare it to, but it sounds like a good, medium output humbucker. And if it sounds good, it is good.
I'm currently waiting on a Sherwood Jag from MJT and these pics GET ME PUMPED BRUH.

Yeah, I used to have an all stock MIM Tele Deluxe, and I rely disliked the pickups in it, but the has passes, different amps, different pedals...
