That's really nice!!!

I like the way it's aged!   :-*

I hope my own fake "Gibsons" will look like that in some 20-odd years..

It plays great (intonation is spot-on...don't ask me how, it doesn't actually have a truss rod), and sound very boomy.  But man is it neck-heavy!!

Do those Greco WRHB copies bear any similarity to the real ones?

The buckers on the Thinline seem to be regular sized. Probably PAF copies.

From what I was told, the orignal Greco pickups in my Tele have been replaced with new Fender pickups sometime in the 34+ year life of the guitar but I don't know when or why. He/she was nice enough to leave the Greco covers on though.  :D

In view of this ...
"...and since we're at it, as a boner bonus

i REALLY wanted to keep this one. 70s Ibanez Black Eagle bass"

I thought this might be interesting for you Pacafeliz (hopefully not opening old wounds) from Tyms guitars in Australia,

Nate

1977 Black Eagle bass.
MIJ. Good condition with lots of player wear. Scroll broken off headstock which is very common on this model. All original. This is the same model played by Krist in Nirvana. These are VERY rare especially in Australia. With original hardcase.
$1600 Aus

Wow! These are all amazing. I love looking at lawsuit guitars on eBay. Are they mostly pretty quality? They are so tempting...

This is a Lyon "Retrotone" Danelectro copy (made by Washburn) from the late '90s. I've read somewhere these were supposed to be lawsuit models. Don't know much about them except they came in three colors (aquaburst, blueburst and a reddish-burst). I bought this one in a pawnshop, the guy had all three colors, and they were still new. Not sure if Danelectro threatened Washburn with legal action, but the Retrotones disappeared from the market fairly quickly. Notice the bridgeplate, it's notched to resemble a "W" (for Washburn).
