Jerry Jones XII string... Coro XII?? Thoughts?

I played one once...  sounded great unplugged but plugged in it was weak.  It totally just could have been the one I played but that particular one did not transfer the liveliness of the acoustic qualities into a lively amplified sound FWIW.  I loooove the way they look FWIW.

I love the way they look, too.  Also, I've never played one, so I have no idea how they sound.  I've only heard a few clips on youtube.

They just seem to be a decent deal in a vintage XII string.

I've heard clips of 6's that sound good so I assume it was mainly an issue with the particular one I played... that red one is hot and has the original case.  I think the reserve is probably too high though since it's a 1.5k BIN.  Probably over $1400.

Danelectro are the lightest guitars that I have ever tried. Logic says that if you put 12 tuners on the neck, the neck would go straight to the floor, but I have never strapped one on to know if that is true. I expect the Vox Phantom 12 to be the same, but again I do not know. Don't know anything about the Coronados.
